Perranwell Station contains a wide range of amenities, including a village shop, pub, garage, primary school, village hall, playing field, football club and cricket club. The railway station is on the Maritime Line running between Truro and Falmouth. The village is also on the Trafalgar Way, and this is marked by a plaque outside the Royal Oak. The church of St Piran’s is situated in Churchtown and the former Methodist Chapel, now converted into a pre-school nursery, is in the centre of the village.
The community of Perranarworthal is located mostly on the north bank of the navigable part of the River Kennall, which itself flows into Restronguet Creek and the Carrick Roads. Perranarworthal has many historic buildings, including Perran Foundry and the Norway Inn.”
